Howdy folks and welcome to week 15! Hot damn summer is flying by! We can’t believe it’s the last week of August but here we are. We hope you all get to enjoy cooking and eating at home this week with all the summer bounty. After a long (full month behind last season) wait our beloved tomatoes are finally here! We hope you enjoy them along with the usual suspects this week. We’ll have corn for at least one more week if not two so enjoy it while it lasts! The sweet peppers are awesome this season and we’ve been stuffing them with rice, beans and lots of ground beef recently. So good!

Have a great last week of August everyone and enjoy the late summer bounty!

A & T

Howdy folks and welcome to week 14. We hope you all had a lovely weekend and are enjoying these last few weeks of August. It’s hard to believe that September is right around the corner and we’re noticing the days getting shorter and shorter with each passing week. With all that being said, these past few hot and sunny weeks have been SO good for the farm. We’re finally catching up with the summer bounty after such a slow start. This week we’re excited to debut the first of this season’s eggplant and peppers to the boxes along with 6 ears of fresh sweet corn for each family along with the usual suspects…zucchini, cucumbers, greens, herbs, beans, etc.

We hope you enjoy the bounty this week everyone! Happy cooking and eating.

Your farmers,
A & T

Howdy folks and welcome to week 13 of your Tumbleweed CSA share. We’re thrilled to share with you the first of this season’s corn! It’s sweeter than we remember (in fact so sweet that you don’t even need to cook it!) But if you do cook it, it doesn’t need to cook long. It’s fresh and so damn flavorful!

We’re happy to have beets back in rotation along with turnips this week (both things taste great grilled so keep your cooking simple by eating outside this week!) Lot’s of fresh herbs along with lettuce, zucchini, cucumbers and the first of the hot peppers. We hope you enjoy this week’s bounty!

Happy cooking and eating everyone!
