2020 Harvest 14

2020Harvest14.jpg

Howdy folks and welcome to week 14. This week it’s all about those peppers! We’ve got lots of shishitos this week (they’re not hot, very mellow!) along with a bell pepper, pabolano pepper and some Hungarian hot wax peppers (they’re the yellow peppers) non of these peppers are very hot (even the hot wax ones) so they’re a great addition to stir fries, salads, or sliced up and used as a vehicle for dipping. Anyhow, we hope you all enjoy this weeks haul!

Happy cooking and eating everyone!

Your farmers,
A & T & Baby P

Howdy folks and welcome to week 13. It’s finally tasting like the middle of the summer in your boxes this week and we’re pretty excited about that. This week we’re thrilled to have sweet corn making its seasonal debut along with shishito peppers and bell peppers. We’ve got radishes back in action after a few weeks hiatus along with the usual suspects— salad greens, bunched greens, herbs, garlic, and zucchini. We hope you all enjoy the harvest this week. Hope you all are staying healthy and safe out there.

2020 Harvest 12

Howdy folks and welcome to week 12. It was a toasty couple of days out here and the crops (well some of them!) we’re pretty happy about it. So get ready for tomatoes!! They’re firing up and each week they get sweeter and sweeter with the heat. Plenty more hot weather crops will be making their debut in the coming weeks so hang tight! The leafy greens aren’t quite as happy in the 90 degree weather but we’ve been watering like crazy and things are going to be just fine. Anyhow, it’s a tasty week and we hope you all enjoy the bounty. The salmon recipe posted below is quite delicious and a great way to use up a lot of the veggies in your box this week!

Cheers to the harvest!
