Located on the northeast flank of Mt. Hood, Tumbleweed Farm grows clean vegetables for our CSA, farmers market and restaurants
We grow approximately 50 different vegetables and fruits on 3 1/2 acres of cultivated land. To build and maintain our fertile soil we use compost, organic fertilizers, livestock rotations and cover cropping. We pride ourselves in growing the cleanest and safest food possible. To do this we do not use sprays of any kind. Instead we control our weeds using mechanical cultivation, hoes, hands and flames. We minimize pest issues by rotating our crops and using row covers.
