Howdy folks and welcome to week 20! We hope you all are staying warm and cozy. This weather has completely rocked us! With snow falling just 5 miles up the road from the farm (we escaped it by a thread!) and really low temperatures, things are starting to shift really fast around here. It’s definietly happening a bit sooner than we’d like, but such is farming and there’s no way to control the weather.
This week we’re happy to have one of our favorite winter squash making it’s seasonal debut the lovely Thelma Sanders Sweet Potato Squash. It’s sweet, with a light yellowish/orange flesh and bonus, the skin is edible so no need to peel! We’ve also got spinach back in rotation after the hot summer months and it’s sweet, hearty and delicious!
